Coming soon to this site chymera plane kits. These superb craftsmans planes include brass screw locking caps enclosed handles and choice of front knobs. Blade widths are 2 inches or 2.5 inches and can be supplied with either pre 1930s cast steel blades or victor blades. The kit will include brass screw locking cap. Blade, cast steel or victor. Enough wood to complete, new wish bone and lateral adjuster casting. Replacement threaded rod for handles. Full drawings and construction details. To complete this kit you will need to supply a donor no 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6 or no 7 bailey pattern plane. This kit will transform the performance of any of the above and give you an heirloom plane you can be proud of.
